Well, hello. I’m so happy you’re here!

I guess I should do a formal introduction.

I’m Jordan Lennon Sippel (she/her). Aside from being a photographer, I’m also the oldest sister of 3 girls, a cancer through-and-through, a chronic book starter (I usually have about 3 I’m reading at once), thrifter, live music enthusiast, and a not-so-good but very enthusiastic gardener.

If my partner, Stevie, and I aren’t exploring around the Bay Area, you can catch us doing house projects, hanging with our pups (Ozzie and Mo), devouring Burma Superstar while binging Netflix shows, adventuring in the mountains, or finding funky Airbnbs and campsites to check out in our spare time.

You should know… I swear too much (just ask my parents), I almost always lose something at a session (RIP to the lens caps I’ve set down, never to be seen again), and one of my biggest anxieties is getting people’s names wrong.

I believe it bears mentioning - all are welcome here. Diversity in its many facets are celebrated, and my business is inclusive of all types of love, in all of its beautiful forms, regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender, size, etc.

What inspires me:  Is ‘everything’ too cliché? Whether it’s a big event, a great meal, a night of dancing your a** off with friends, coffee on a cool morning with your partner, being greeted by your pets when you get home, or the feeling you get at a concert when your favorite artist steps on stage - there are so many moments in life I want to bottle up and keep for the tougher days. I think images have that power, too; to bring you back, time and time again, to a moment you don’t want to forget.

My style: The moments that jump out at me are the in-betweens. Unposed, unaware of the camera, sharing a laugh with a loved one, a big bear hug, chugging a beer, sneaking a smooch - some of the most beautiful moments are the unexpected, and I will spend forever helping y’all capture these. Of course, there are always some classics that people want to be captured, and we can snag some of those, too. Basically, I think life in general is worth documenting.

Thanks for being here!
